Heartland Harvest Vineyard & Winery was the result of friends gathering one evening over a few bottles of wine made by winemaker and co-owner Mike Pence. The Murphys and Pences wanted a business that they could enjoy the outdoors and being with people. The increased interest in grapes and wine seemed to be the answer they were looking for. The Murphys moved to Wyoming, but remain active co-owners in the business. The day to day operations of the vineyard & winery are overseen by Kathy and Mike Pence. Most of the time you will find the Pences at the winery and are always happy to stop what they are doing and visit and answer questions. |
